    Michael Palmer is extremely excited to be a part of the Desert Island Restaurants team and to have the opportunity to work with two world-class brands in Hawai’i.  Mike was instrumental in the success of Jamba Juice in Hawai’i.  After working for Jamba Juice Company on the mainland for 4 years and opening 15 stores throughout California, Mike moved to Hawai’i in 1999 and joined the team at Coffee Partners (Starbucks/Jamba Juice/PF Chang’s) to help them launch the Jamba Juice brand.  During that time, they opened 36 locations, where Mike helped oversee training & development and led a team of 12 general managers and over 200 team members as a district manager of franchise operations.  Mike was awarded the company’s prestigious Founder’s Award for excellence in leadership, as well as the District Manager of the Year award.

    Mike was most recently with Asia Pacific Restaurant Group, where he was Director of Operations for Wing Stop – a newer franchise in Hawaii – where he assembled a solid team and helped increase comparable sales and guest service standards
