When you dine at one of our fine restaurants such as Ruth’s Chris, Romano’s Macaroni Grill or Ling & Louie’s, we want you to have a great Aloha experience! We feel the experience you get is just as important as the food we serve.

“Aloha” to us at Desert Island Restaurants is a way of life. When our staff says “Aloha,” it has more meaning than just “hello” or “goodbye.” The word can also mean “the joyful sharing of life energy.” In return, we want to share that with you. That’s the way founder Randy Schoch conducts his business. He wants to instill that culture at all of his restaurants, including the ones on the mainland.

For 20 years, we’ve been building team spirit with our employees. In return, that energy transfers over to the great service our guests receive. Our servers are friendly and attentive and go out of their way to make sure you have a fantastic experience! It starts with making sure each guest is warmly greeted and treated like family. It then extends to our wait staff and every other member of our teams. Each employee is part of our “Ohana,” representing an important part of our service family. We hold everyone to the highest standards to ensure that we exceed expectations for each and every one of our guests.

    It’s too bad Macaroni Grill Hawaii does not participate in the “Free Pasta for First Responders” valid for the Month of October. No disclaimer in website ad.
