For 2018, Ling & Louie’s has created a special passport program, offering their guests a glimpse of the countries and regions that influence their cuisine and inspire their chefs. Each month, Ling & Louie’s will journey to a different country and explore the unique flavors and cooking techniques used, showcasing the best the region has to offer.

During the month of April, the “Not Boring” restaurant will visit the country of Vietnam. Considered one of the healthiest cuisines in the world, Vietnamese cuisine is admired for its fresh ingredients, complementary textures, and reliance on fresh herbs and vegetables. The ability to balance the basic tastes (sweet, salty, bitter, sour, umami) with spice is essential in Vietnamese cooking. With April’s forthcoming menu, Ling & Louie’s has exhibited this ability in the many featured dishes.
